Recognising Every Achievement
At LWTS, we offer a wide range of Performing Arts classes, including Dance, Musical Theatre, Singing and Acting. As part of their journey, students have the opportunity to work towards nationally recognised examinations through leading awarding bodies, including the National Association of Teachers of Dancing (NATD), London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and MN Awards.
We believe examinations are about so much more than achieving a certificate. They provide students with clear goals to work towards, encourage discipline and commitment, and help build confidence, resilience and a strong sense of achievement. Preparing for an exam teaches valuable life skills such as perseverance, focus and self-belief—qualities that benefit our students both inside and outside the studio.
We are incredibly proud of every student who chooses to take examinations. Their dedication and hard work continue to shine, and we’re delighted that, to date, every LWTS student has achieved the highest level of Distinction in their examinations, a testament to their commitment and the high standard of training they receive.

At LWTS, we believe the stage is where confidence truly comes to life. That’s why providing exciting and meaningful performance opportunities is at the heart of everything we do. From a student’s very first performance to stepping onto some incredible stages, every experience is designed to build confidence, resilience, teamwork and memories that last a lifetime.
Throughout the year, our students enjoy a wide variety of performance experiences. From local community events and charity performances to festivals, competitions and regional and national showcases, every opportunity allows our students to grow in confidence, develop their skills and experience the excitement of performing in front of live audiences.
One of the highlights of life at LWTS is our biennial performance trip to Disneyland® Paris, where students have the incredible opportunity to perform at one of the world’s most magical destinations. It’s an unforgettable experience that inspires our performers, strengthens friendships and creates memories they’ll treasure forever.
Closer to home, every student also has the chance to take to the stage in our spectacular school showcases and full-scale Musical Theatre productions. These performances celebrate the hard work and progress of our students while giving them the opportunity to shine, tell stories, work as a team and experience the thrill of live theatre in a supportive and encouraging environment.
