Musical Theatre

Musical Theatre is a fantastic creative learning environment for our students to learn about Musical Theatre and its key principles of singing, acting and dance, all of which are taught through a diverse range of Musical Theatre repertoire.

Each term will focus on a musical and explore this through the key principles and group and independent work. We invite specialists in who work within the industry to support the children’s learning and offer insight into the theatre world.

Students are also offered performance opportunities through local events, festivals and our musicals to support their development and performance skills in the arts.

This is a great class for building confidence and self-esteem and throwing yourself into the world of the arts and Musical Theatre. We have two classes on a Saturday 1.45-2.45pm (6-10yrs) and 2.45 – 3.45pm (11yrs+) at The Masque Theatre.

We facilitate a happy and fun environment for children to enjoy learning the arts and express themselves. As a parent, I acknowledge the importance of you knowing what activities your child engages in and parents are always invited to our ‘Watching Week’ at the end of term.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Louise Wright Theatre School.
